The following article was published in the Toronto Star on Thursday February 24, 2005.

BONE MARROW NEEDED : Two years ago, Jeremie Premi-Reiller was just your basic GTA hockey player, an industrious 11 year-old skating out of Leaside Arena as a left winger for Dell Diesel Equipment.

In March 2003, however, the youngster was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and hasn't played since. His treatment was to have ended this September, until he suffered a relapse two months ago. He is now considered high-risk and is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant.

With no match in his immediate family, Jeremie, now 13, is looking towards the bone marrow registry of the Canadian Blood Services for a possible match and transplant.

The bone marrow registry is usually harvested from the donor's hip bones.

Over 230,000 Canadians are currently registered. For more information and to register, call 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283) or go online at www.bloodservices.ca

Here are the pictures of my two kids, Jérémie and Le Benj.

In March 2003, Jérémie was diagnosed with leukemia. Unfortunately, the cancer came back in December 2004. He went through a bone marrow transplant on July 14, 2005.

In order to save lives, you can become a bone marrow donor. Call 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283) or go online at www.bloodservices.ca . Any question about that process, please send me an e-mail (ppreiller@free.fr). Thank you.

Mes chéris,

During my many trips, I have left and I will continue to leave in various parts of the world the same message for you :

"Be Audacious and Generous"

I would love it if you could lead your life according to these two principles.

Papa

My kid Benjamin is a soccer fan. During the 2006 world cup, he absolutely wanted a jersey with the name of his idol Zinedine Zidane. He opened his piggy bank to purchase one. Unfortunately, all stores were out of stock. Therefore, he bought a blue jersey and had Zidane name and the number 10 written on it. After the finale and the shameful gesture by Mister Zidane, he refused to wear that jersey. I am particularly proud of my son's attitude and of his great moral rigor. I told him but I want to repeat it here: Congratulations my love.
